Raising Visibility of the 'Business for Good' Supporters at The Good Business Club
Brighton is ripe to be ‘the place’ where social enterprises setup and flourish. From pioneering politics, more conscious citizens and a city that truly welcomes diversity, it’s therefore not a surprise to see local people from all walks of life taking the power into their own hands and setting up businesses that are challenging broken systems in our society.
But Brighton hasn’t quite lived up to it’s full potential. There is an overwhelm of choice if you’re looking to setup or grow your' ‘business for good’ but it’s all disconnected and hard to find if you don’t know where to look. The impact of this is a city full of aspiring social entrepreneurs and individuals wanting to work with more purposeful businesses not able to find each other.
That’s why The Good Business Club (TGBC) was created by Sara Osterholzer and Ruth Anslow. They believe a connected network of like-minded people can do great things for each other and it is what’s needed to make Brighton ‘the place’ for social enterprise.
The Club is a network of like-minded people aspiring, starting up or running social enterprises as well as ‘business for good’ supporters who want to offer their expertise to the people running more purposeful businesses.
