Since starting up The Good Business Club in January, the question that's come up the most in conversations is - "What is a good business?" - and we’ve engaged in numerous discussions, gaining fascinating perspectives from others in the space and refining our own language around it.
We want to delve deeper into this conversation as we believe it is critical if we want more businesses to take on the responsibility of making a more positive impact in their communities and in the environment.
Join us and a panel of Change-makers in Brighton to find out what it really means to run a business with purpose beyond profit
Michael Ryan, Now! Charity Group - an enterprising charity who are broadening their financial model to free themselves from the constraints of ever dwindling and increasingly competitive funding opportunities
Ruth Anslow, HISBE - an established social enterprise supermarket transforming the food industry by showcasing how it should be when it comes to sourcing and eating food in the UK
Alice Reeves, The Joyful Web - A value-led marketing agency that works with businesses that are challenging the status quo and leading with purpose before profit and Belong Con - The Belong Conversation is an event, podcast and blog exploring the power of belonging
Fox Geere, Humanitive - a ‘people first’ software development team that builds better cloud software for the companies doing good, so they can do more of it and Founders of Good - a web show that brings together a community of inspired founders and connecting listeners to ideas, new approaches, growth mindset and (hopefully) make being a founder easier
Atif Choudhury, Diversity and Ability (D&A) - is a disabled-led social enterprise, which has supported over 17,000 marginalised and neurodiverse individuals using (assistive) technology, mentoring and tailored strategies and Zaytoun CiC - the world’s first Fairtrade Palestinian olive oil cooperative
