Community Leaders

The Good Business Club team is small but mighty. So who are the people behind the names?

Tom Jepson

Tom is the Community Manager and he is on call to check in with members, connect the dots, and create intentional spaces for our community to connect. When he's not supporting the members directly, he plays a huge role in designing and evolving the community engagement strategy.

“I’m here to help our amazing members connect with each other and grow through awesome collaboration. People are at the heart of everything I do so it’s a pleasure to be able to support those who are growing to do good business.

Professionally I am a design consultant & strategist with over 15 years’ experience in the creative industries. I’m also a trained coach and a mentor for up-and-coming designers.

When I’m not problem-spotting I’ll likely be taking care over making a coffee, creating textural music with synthesisers, or watching horror movies (Sometimes all three at once!).”

Inès Bussat

Inès is the Community Coordinator and supports the community by leading all things events, activities as well as our communication channels. If you’re involved in bringing the community to life or are contributing content, you’ll likely be meeting Inès soon.

“I contribute to creating spaces for creative and impactful collaboration in the community. My focus is on events, marketing channels, and community engagement. I hope to bring my curiosity, passion, and positive energy to the team and community!

After studying Sociology and International Development, I have worked in two startups, developing my skills in project management and sales.

In my free time, I love reading, writing, and spending time with family and friends.”

Community Champions

The Club comes to life every moment of every day because of the individuals who are part of the community, our team is just there to make connecting with the community easier.

Community Champions are passionate about good business and share our mission to support members to get the support they need to run sustainable businesses. They bring the community to life by holding space and facilitating activity across the country.

We truly wouldn't exist without their contribution.

The Founders

Sara Osterholzer and Ruth Anslow set up GBC in 2019 because they didn't have a space where they could connect with like-minded business people, ones who truly care about people and the planet alongside profit.

Sara Osterholzer

“I co-founded The Good Business Club to make it easier for purpose-driven businesses to build sustainable businesses through the power of networking.

When I’m not banging the drum for purpose-led business, you can find me touring around on my motorbike or breaking the taboo around mental health.”

Let’s connect.

Ruth Anslow

“I co-founded The Good Business Club to transform business and support others to launch and grow businesses that are positively impacting our society.

I dedicate my time to evolving HISBE and supporting other business owners following their own visions of “how it should be.”
