A good business for me is one that actively and genuinely tries to do the right thing: fair, transparent, and sustainable. The more the business grows the more it should give back to society.
— Rodrigo Bautista, Ticketpass

Why did you decide to start up your business and what’s your mission?

Because I got fed-up with an outdated industry  and that seemed not to care for anything apart from their profits. Our mission is to build an ethical alternative that is fair, friendly and social; putting people first and truly making the world a better place.

What does being a good business mean to you and your business?

A good business for me is one that actively and genuinely tries to do the right thing: fair, transparent, and sustainable. The more the business grows the more it should give back to society.

Running a good business is tough, what/who has supported your journey?

During my journey I’ve had many people supporting me in different ways. At the early days of Ticketpass my family played a key role, as things were progressing other people like friends, mentors and other founders. I’m an open founder, I try to learn from anyone I meet.

I believe rather than waiting or relying on governments to take action, businesses have the power to move markets and generate meaningful impact.
— Rodrigo Bautista, Ticketpass

What 3 pieces of advice would you share with other first-time business owners who are looking to do things differently in business to set up for long term sustainability?

• It won’t be easy, but you can always find a way to make it happen.

• Listen, take all feedback you can and don’t take things personally.

• Ask yourself: How could you become the most sustainable company in your space?

Why are you an Ambassador of The Good Business Club?

Because the world needs it. As society we have come to a point where the current growth is not sustainable. I believe rather than waiting or relying on governments to take action, businesses have the power to move markets and generate meaningful impact.
