Shared Wisdom - online co-mentoring sessions

Shared Wisdom sessions are online co-mentoring events designed for co-support in life and work.

Being different and finding success that matters to you isn’t easy. Conventional approaches don’t always work when you think and feel differently from those around you. This can make getting the help we all need more difficult. And if we don’t get the help we need, it’s much harder for us to help others.

This event is a kind, encouraging place to connect with others who really understand. It's a place to find support and advice about the problems we all face when we try to work in our own ways. It's also a place to offer your valuable experience and wisdom to others and to explore new ideas.

Date: Tue 25 Oct 2022

Time: 7.30 PM - 9 PM GMT

What to expect

This might be the right place for you if:

  • You are curious and often find yourself trying to figure out life

  • You want to do more of what you like and care less about what others ‘’might say’’

  • You feel you need guidance, advice, or partnerships on a personal or professional ideas

  • Or you are simply looking to connect, meet similarly minded, or ready to be inspired

  • You would like to share your knowledge and experience with others

  • You want to make the impossible possible

We use a format designed for online co-mentoring. We'll start together, then split into small groups for focused discussion. Everyone gets an equal share of the time to discuss their own question or idea. Once the time is up we'll get back together as a group to share with everyone.

This is a great format for exploring possibilities and getting a handle on tricky problems. Specific skills and experience aren't so important. The main thing is to come with an open mind and a willingness to listen.

Your host

Curious Being, co-founded by Matthew Bellringer and Anita Toze, is a group of people exploring what it is to be and work as themselves, with others doing similarly. A community where being fully you is not only tolerated but welcomed; where you don’t have to pretend you’re something you’re not. It is about exploring what it is to be both different and successful in all that matters to you.
