Get ready to level up your business game, Sussex folks! We're joining forces with businesses that truly walk-the-talk when it comes to building a better future for all, and that includes a brand new partnership with  SO Law, a forward-thinking legal services provider that's all about supporting and empowering good business founders across Sussex. Curious about how this partnership with SO Law could change the game for your business? Keep reading!

SO Law: not your average legal services provider

SO Law was set up to support businesses who are aiming to create a win/win society for people, planet and profit, especially those businesses who typically do this by innovatively  challenging traditional systems and structures. Challenging the status quo includes interpreting and challenging rules and regulations to ensure a fair and equal society for all.  This might look like knowledge sharing across industries and sectors to encourage innovation, creating tech products that disrupt traditional industries and supporting founders from diverse backgrounds. This is also reflected in the way that SO Law are trying to Do Law Differently.

We saw that SO Law isn't just talk; they are taking action where it’s most needed. That's why we reached out to them. They're the perfect partner to help us make a difference.

Driving Impact in Sussex

GBC are joining forces with SO Law to unlock 5 fully-funded memberships for good businesses in Sussex so they can make their resources and time stretch further.

Samantha Oakley, founder of SO Law, shares their vision for the future and why she wanted to create this partnership:

Samantha Oakley, Founder

“As a founding member of The Club,  I have been a champion of what the team have created for the good business community for a while. Having such a supportive community for business owners, that truly help each other on their unique missions to do good in the world is critical and invaluable.

Since joining the Club, I have personally received support with the evolution of my own venture as well as supporting other members when needed, and when I heard about this new opportunity to enable other businesses to access the resources I have, I wanted in.

Ultimately we have big ambitions but, as a small business ourselves, there is only so much we can do. Coming together to form a partnership with the Club, pooling our resources and expertise together, we can have a greater impact.”
